Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree on Business, Marketing or Design.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with compulsory capabilities in Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Internet, design/content creation software

  • Knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and display planning

  • Ability to execute and oversee merchandising plans, exhibitions and events

  • Ability to analyse merchandising/industry trends that may impact strategy

  • Ability to understand, evaluate and implement marketing strategies

  • Analytical skills

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite of design software or any design software will be a plus.

 

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of marketing, trade marketing, channel management, retail experience

  • Marketing experience, preferably in CE retail business

  • Knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, Product Development, Sales Operations, Marketing Communications, Customer Experience, Market Knowledge

  • Retail experience is preferred, knowledge of digital marketing concepts, Knowledge of the audio and/or consumer technology industries is a plus

  • Prior experience in managing and steering external agency relationships

  • Retail experience is preferred

  • Expert proficiency of the English language with excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Effective communicator and presenter

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills

  • Extreme attention to detail, especially in communication, messaging, writing and presentation

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethics; willingness to learn and evolve in a challenging environment

  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment is a must

  • A team player with the ability to interact and influence effectively in a matrix organisation

  • High-level of self-motivation and initiative
