Essential skills and requirements :

 

  • Min 5 years’ experience with international structured (transactional) accounts
  • Affinity  with professional audio / video industry is a plus
  • Fluent Dutch, French and English writing and speaking
  • Demonstrated and proven capabilities of strategic negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated and proven capabilities in identifying, strategically approaching and acquiring new resellers and assessing the associated risks
  • Ability to analyze data and use this as base in strategic discissions and develop new business opportunities, sales trends,  forecast planning, profit analyses
  • Experience in presenting for groups
  • Experience with (global) sales processes like selective distribution and contractual obligations
  • Experience in different reporting systems for pipeline & forecast management and sales tracking
  • Experience of working in international environment
  • Excellent ability to meet predefined targets in negotiations and to win price discussions
  • Team player, open to support colleagues, willingness to train & support colleagues, ability to work with team (and team objectives)
  • Excellent skills to identify and exploit growth opportunities
  • Excellent ability to prepare for important meetings with clients, including the use of tools
  • Excellent ability to prevent and handle objections
  • Excellent signing skills with knowledge of closing tactics and techniques
  • Good understanding of product features, benefits and applications
  • Ability to present and demonstrate technical products in a simple and condensed manner
  • Strong ability to answer medium level technical questions
  • Good understanding of key market drivers and trends
  • Good understanding of the competitive environment and relative performance
  • Good understanding of market dynamics and correlations
  • Excellent ability to strategically cultivate and develop long-term relationships with resellers
  • Excellent knowledge of creating reseller development plans
  • Excellent skills in strategy analysis and reseller market situation
  • Excellent skills in building and maintaining relationships with resellers
  • Excellent capacity for extensive business networking with resellers and their key influencers

Education/Experience :

 

  • Degree Bachelor, Master
  • More than 10 years experience in outside sales, were from 5 years with international structured accounts,  preferably in the audiovisual field or in the sale of related technical products and in working with resellers
  • At least 3 years knowledge of the audiovisual sector
  • (less extensive training may be considered if more years of sales experience are involved)
  • Fluency in written and spoken Dutch, French and English
