Sales Administration Analyst

This role is primarily responsible for driving the Sales & Order Planning (S&OP) process across the business managing customer facing key topics which include forecast, promotional accrual management. Providing market insights, customer stock management and delivery performance for key accounts are also your key priorities.  You are also required to consolidate and provide sales analysis reports of customer sales out data, promotional toolbox preparation on a regular basis to enable the business to monitor the performance for the ANZ and SE Asia regions.

You will also coach and mentor the team, provide training and act as an escalation point for technical queries and concerns in relation to the S&OP process and implement a calendar of review meetings in through the various ANZ & SE Asia functions to ensure transparent communication of plans and events in the Sales and Marketing calendar.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface for all stakeholders, working with APAC Commercial Managers, ANZ and SE Asia Sales and Logistics teams to ensure sales targets and customer excellence is achieved through the  Demand Management and Supply Chain Management tool (Oracle Demantra) and automated supply inventory systems.
  • Develop 6-12 months rolling demand forecast, incorporating market intelligence (promotions, new launches, EOL) from Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Reconcile supply plan to demand plan to mitigate shortfalls and unhealthy stocks situations for new launches, supply constraint or under-forecasted demand spikes.
  • Coordinate all customer sales data into local forecasting and S&OP process.
  • Provide guidance regarding operational planning and serve as the supply and inventory planning expert liaising with the Logistics supply team for inbound stock management.
  • Develop sales strategies and plans in conjunction with the Direct and Retailer account teams to deliver against business objectives to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels in line with S&OP agreed levels.
  • Utilize forecasting and planning tools to support inventory optimization and supply plans and collaborate with key retail partners on forecasting and deliver the financial reporting output on all S&OP process.
  • Analyze, prepare, and present performance metrics and identify/recommend opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains in the sales team planning environment.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement teams.
  • System Process Owner (Demand Planning system IE Demantra/Other).
  • Working with the Sales Director to establish management overlay demand forecasting from bottom-up planning process.
  • Collaborate with Sales and the APAC commercial manager, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Logistics in leading the management of S&OP communication and IBP planning cycles.
  • Provide relevant and accurate reports and analysis within agreed timeframes and formats to the head office in Europe.
 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification from relevant disciplines with 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated data management and supply chain planning experience in a similar role across a varied product profile range.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of planning, forecasting and demand tools and systems.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and the S&OP process.
  • Exposure to and a deep understanding of the S&OP process and Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and promotional sales planning skills.
  • Proven commercial acumen and experience in presenting data.
  • Ability to consult and facilitate change across the business and to build strong cross functional business relationships locally and globally.
  • Proven leadership ability to engage, motivate and produce results with a small customer focused team.
