This is a global role and the successful candidate may be based in any country where a Sennheiser sales subsidiary is located.  

Our Business Communications team serves the audio installation market and is focused on higher education and corporate audio installations.  We are looking for a PR/Media Manager for our growing team to help us design how Sennheiser presents itself in the media and professional world. We are looking for someone who:

  • will be responsible for developing and implementing our PR and print media strategy, building our brand reputation in the business world and ensuring effective media coverage.
  • draft and/or oversee the creation of media releases
  • will strengthen and expand our press and key influencer globally for the business communications team, with a strong focus on AV for IT, Higher Education and the Corporate Meeting Room markets
  • will develop PR campaigns together with the international team and conduct regular calls with regional PR teams for local implementation
  • will coordinate our work with agencies and other service providers
  • will plan and execute PR activities at local trade shows, media events, etc.
  • will handle press inquiries and provide support for interviews
  • will represent business communications in the larger Sennheiser media team and develop relevant content
  • will monitor communication activities as well as evaluate and optimize them based on our KPIs
  • will be responsible for the central PR budget within the business unit

You are the right person if you:

  • have a degree in Communication Studies, Public Relations or a comparable course of studies
  • have several years of experience as a communications professional
  • have a good understanding of and experience in audio, I.T. and business environments
  • show creativity, independence, problemsolving skills and organizational talent
  • have excellent writing skills and technical acumen
  • are openminded and enjoy working in a team
  • like trying out new approaches and to push things forward on a professional level

  • This is a homeoffice position ideally located near a major airport with the ability to travel to our corporate headquarters in Germany as well as to international trade events and regional Sennheiser offices
