·         5-8 years’ experience and proven success in Sales Management and Business Development roles in the Consumer Electronics Channel

·         A minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing large national retail chains.

·         At least 2 years of direct management responsibility of outside vendors

·         Excellent knowledge of the US and Canadian retail landscape, shopper behaviors and related merchandising tactics

·         Solid understanding of retail pricing policies 

·         Excellent negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to craft strategic account plans

·         Excellent analytical skills to include sales forecasting techniques

·         Experience working collaboratively with trade marketing and knowledge in online and offline trade marketing tactics

·         Ability to travel domestic and international up to 50%

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of management

·         Outgoing nature with strong networking and relationship building ability.

·         Analytical thinker, with the ability to turn strategies into successful execution

·         Strong initiation skills, ability to respond quickly to changing business environments

·         Results focused; uses performance targets and goals to drive personal accountability

·         Attention to detail; self-directed; self-starter; expert problem solver

·         Ability to work individually and cross-functionally across internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Business Planning, and Logistics to problem solve and drive results
