And this is where you come in. For all the Sennheiser employees who will be working for Sonova in the future, a transfer to Sonova, an internationally active and broadly positioned company, will open up exciting perspectives for the future. You will have a considerable influence on the future of our financial department and the way we administrate our finances.

Take good care of our bookkeeping
As the newest member of our finance team, you ensure proper account management and handling of debtors and creditors in close collaboration with your colleagues.

You will be responsible for providing accounting services for the company and maintaining its financial records in compliance with local laws and corporate requirements.  You will based in our Danish office, currently in Vallensbaek, but your responsibilities will also include the Norwegian, Swedish & Finnish branches as well as UK. Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Prepare salaries and wages – and reconciliation of these.
  • Review and handle other personnel benefits.
  • Ensure annual financial closing as required by local law and corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Balance sheets reconciliations
  • Prepare and record journal entries to maintain the Company’s general ledger
  • Reconcile select general ledger accounts on a regular basis and resolve reconciling items
  • Reconcile bank activity
  • Perform analyses and reports as required
  • Assist with monthly and year-end closings
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Support Accounts Payable functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Responsible accountant with solid experience
Besides a solid knowledge of accounting, you also hold a positive and innovative mindset, and you do not hesitate to bring your bright ideas to the table. You are persistent and able to work both independently and as part of the team.  You are well organised, highly responsible and working well under pressure adhering to strict deadlines.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience from a similar position.
  • Have knowledge of payroll legislation and processes of all four Nordic countries; an knowledge of the UK payroll and processes would be an advantage
  • Experience in using ERP systems (e.g. JDE or SAP) is an advantage
  • Speak and write English fluently – one of the Nordic languages too is a plus.
  • Have a strong analytical ability
  • Have a demonstrable Advance Excel skills to include pivot tables, VLOOKUP, graphs/tables, filters and sorting


Lastly, an understanding of or interest in business intelligence within user experience and reporting is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
