Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Electrical/Electronics or other environmental-related field of study with more than 5 years’ of experience as an environmental technical resource, program specialist or program manager in consumer electronics (A/V or ITE products) industry. Diploma holders with more than 8 years of relevant experience will be considered.
- Hands-on experience in managing complex environmental programs for material conformity, master data management & submission.
- Experience in managing changes related to environmental regulations, ability to train and influence project teams and suppliers.
- In depth knowledge of worldwide environmental legislations and regulations
- Experience in engaging with Environmental Regulatory Agency / Authority worldwide and ability to influence implementation of regulations.
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced regulatory changes, directions, and strategy.
- Ability to think strategically beyond day to day work, make decision, take responsibility and be accountable.
- Focused, meticulous, and willing to learn new regulations.
- Good team player, effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to develop intercultural collaboration.
- Possess proficiency in environmental regulatory program, act as an Internal Expert and demonstrate when engaging with project teams and partnering with suppliers throughout the product life cycle.
- Experience in handling Product Safety, EMC & RF regulations to EU, North America & APAC countries for A/V or ITE products is added advantage.
