What You Will Do:
As the Business Development Director for the US Region, you will lead strategic business development efforts for Sennheiser’s Professional Audio division, focusing on five core vertical markets: Music Industry (MI), Touring and Live Sound, Broadcast, Theater, and Recording Environments. This role involves driving opportunity value creation, coaching and leading a high-performing team, and executing strategic plans that deliver pipeline growth, deepen customer engagement, and support the overall go-to-market vision. This position reports to the Vice President Sales, Americas and collaborates closely with Sales Directors, Product Management, Marketing, Application Engineering, and other key internal stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:
A four-year college degree is required.
You have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in business development or strategic sales roles, with at least 3 years in Pro Audio, AV, or a closely related technology industry and at least 3 years of experience leading a business development team, including responsibility for strategy execution, pipeline performance, and team development.
You have a strong understanding of IT, networking, and AV integration environments, typically gained through 3+ years of relevant technical or customer-facing experience.
You have a proven track record of developing and executing long-term growth strategies and leading cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and technical teams, and can share stories of your demonstrated experience working with CRM systems to manage pipeline stages, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus. You have the ability and desire to travel up to 75% of the time domestically and possibly outside the US.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Sennheiser, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 - $170,000 Total Cash Compensation per year.
