Audio Software Engineer (m/f/d)

 

As a member of the Sennheiser Mobility Team, located in Zürich City (close to Sihlcity), you will provide technical and creative contributions to the development of cutting-edge spatial audio experiences in automotive vehicles, relying on your skills as a software developer.

 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing, testing and designing new features for a flexible, cutting-edge spatial audio processing platform for use in automotive markets
  • Designing and implementing components for our GUI-based, multi-platform (macOs, windows) software stack 
  • Help coordinate and test deployments to automotive audio platforms for our various customers
  • Interfacing with our audio team members to help ensure continuous workflow improvements
  • Implementing, optimizing and porting audio algorithms
  • Help ensure a high degree of code quality through systematic testing and continuous integration
  • Assist other members of the Mobility team in preparation for/during demos and trade shows

 Our tech stack includes:
  • C++14 & C89, Python, JUCE
  • Azure DevOps, Git, Cmake, Catch2
  • Standard dev client: MacBook, Xcode

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Around 3 years of industry experience with modern C++ and object-oriented programming
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art software engineering practices (Agile methodologies, Design Patterns, TDD, …)
  • Acquaintance with real-time signal processing software design
  • Audio experience (stage, studio)
  • Very good written and verbal skills in English
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Enjoys the challenge of solving problems independently in an ever-changing environment
  • Familiarity with automated build systems (CI)
  • Experience with C and embedded platforms
