Acoustics Design Engineer for professional Headphones and Microphones (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the conceptualization, realization, and, if necessary, adaptation of electroacoustic systems and/or components for existing and new products, systems, or system components in the field of headphones and microphones for professional applications
- You integrate the electroacoustic components, taking into account system design and manufacturability
- You measure all relevant parameters and functions and tune the system to meet product specifications and customer requirements
- You use simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, SPICE, Comsol, etc., to predict the acoustic system behavior
- You present selected alternatives in detail, document them, and create schedules
- You conduct technology and feasibility studies and are responsible for technical reviews in your area of expertise
- You support external development partners and manufacturers
- You are involved in the entire development process from the initial idea to the finished product for the customer
Your profile
- You have a completed (university) degree of at least 4 years in communications engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
- You bring practical experience in the development and simulation of electroacoustic components
- You have practical experience in acoustic measurement technology and have experience in the acoustic tuning of headphones and microphones
- You have already gained experience in audio signal processing
- You possess conversational-level German and English skills, both written and spoken, for regular technical coordination
- You demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a self-organized manner
- You are open, curious, and have the desire for continuous personal development
